Intelligent Roadside Unit (RSU) is primarily used for Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) functions, providing support for interactive intelligent transportation, road safety, and autonomous driving applications. It enables direct real-time "communication" between traffic infrastructure and vehicles, supporting a wide range of applications, including connected vehicles, Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS), and autonomous vehicles.
RSU is based on C-V2X wireless communication capabilities and offers RS232 and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, facilitating connections to traffic signal controllers, LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, video cameras, small weather stations, traffic electronic signs, and other traffic facilities. It comprehensively meets various communication requirements and supports direct communication modes through Uu and PC5 interfaces. It includes a GNSS module supporting GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo/QZSS and an RTK inertial navigation module for high-precision positioning. RSU can be powered by both direct current and Power over Ethernet (PoE) methods.
RSU complies with the 3GPP R14 standard and supports application layer and application data interaction standards for Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) and Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems Application Layer (TCSAE 53-2017). This product is suitable for Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I), Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS), and Autonomous Vehicles (AV), enabling various traffic information alerts such as road hazard warnings, speed limit notifications, red-light violation warnings, pedestrian collision alerts, green wave speed guidance, in-vehicle signal lights, in-vehicle signs, and congestion anomaly alerts.
