The TVD-200 Integrated Traffic Video Detector features a built-in 1.3-megapixel resolution sensor and is designed for IP-addressable cameras. It consists of a camera (with a minimum resolution of 640x480), video analysis detection, and communication modules, all integrated within a protective housing.
This detector employs a non-contact video detection method and is installed on the roadside or above traffic lanes to perform traffic flow detection and broadcast traffic condition information. TVD-200 allows for the configuration of one or more detection zones (virtual loops) per lane in the video monitoring area, monitoring dynamic traffic information such as traffic flow queue length and congestion. Utilizing AVA's proprietary simulation technology, it can transmit traffic flow and status information for each lane, traffic flow, queue length, congestion, and more, to the command center or traffic signal control intersection via wired or wireless communication. This data is used for displaying real-time traffic conditions on large screens for urban traffic flow guidance and optimizing intersection timing management.
Key Features:
- Capable of flow detection, presence detection, parking detection, and loop emulation detection modes.
- Detection capability: Detects both moving and stationary vehicles.
- The system can automatically assess the quality of the detection image and classify it into 10 levels. When the image quality falls below a set threshold, it enters protective mode.
- Employs mature video traffic detection algorithms, including nighttime headlight detection, adverse weather detection, and algorithms that suppress shaking, shadows, reflections, rain, snow, dust, etc.
- Environmentally adaptive, automatically switching between day and night detection modes based on road lighting conditions.
- Locally compresses captured video images, and the compressed images along with detection data are uploaded to the central system.
- Detects a minimum of 6 lanes, with the ability to accommodate up to 3 lanes in each direction, unaffected by median barriers.
- Data types: Flow, occupancy, headway, average speed, vehicle type classification, and more.
- Detection accuracy: Flow accuracy ≥ 95%, speed accuracy ≥ 95%, occupancy ≥ 95%.
- Vehicle length classification can be set with customizable thresholds for two vehicle types.
- Lane-specific data includes date, time, statistical period, lane, flow for each vehicle type, average speed for each vehicle type, lane occupancy, and confidence level.
- Traffic flow service levels (5 levels):
- Normal (no alarm), traffic is smooth, displayed in green on large screens.
- Dense (alarm 1), traffic is dense, displayed in yellow on large screens.
- Slow (alarm 2), traffic is slow, displayed in yellow on large screens.
- Congested (alarm 3), traffic is congested, displayed in red on large screens.
- Stop-and-go (alarm 4), traffic is heavily congested, displayed in red on large screens.
